Ready or not here they come 
With so many people speaking as one
And you'd like to believe that this time around
Something's going to change in this part of town

And brought to you live by the media clowns
Is that by changing the players, you're changing the game
But strip off the plastic, the poisons the same

Cuz every four years we got the national game
Of placing our bets on a horse that's gone lame
But the fix has been in for so long now
They only keep us around so someone will bow

So here's what you do, just follow the crowd
Put your hands in the air and clap real loud
And four years from now you'll do it again
When they give us a chance and we vote for our king
